The UK's original rum distillers bring you Christmas in a bottle. We begin by co-distilling our own rum from molasses with English oak and hickory. An assortment of fresh festive flavours are then added: coil of orange zest, split vanilla pod, cinnamon sticks and star anise; quite simply deconstructed Christmas Pudding in a bottle.

Tasting Notes

Warm, Christmas baking spices on the nose, with a chorus of memorable Christmas flavours and treacly molasses rum-soaked Christmas pudding on the palate. A luxuriously smooth sip that will teleport you back to rosy memories spent by the fireside in December.

Process

We start by fermenting and then double distilling treacly molasses at our distillery at Great Yeldham Hall. Small 200 litre copper pot stills are used to allow us to exactly grab the bits of the spirit we want: a second distillation with oak and hickory added to the still further concentrate the flavours along with adding flavour complexity, plus allowing us to further remove fiery impurities in the spirit. Our rum is then infused overnight with our five Christmas spices, with sugar added to create a spiced rum liqueur.

Serving suggestions

A delicious rum liqueur by itself, chilled or warmed up; add to apple juice or cola for instant mulling; or serve warm with a layer of cream for a festive flat white. Merry Christmas!
