Cookies Policy
1. About cookies
1.1 A cookie is a file containing an identifier (a string of letters and numbers) that is sent by a web server to a web browser and is stored by the browser. The identifier is then sent back to the server each time the browser requests a page from the server.
1.2 Cookies may be either “persistent” cookies or “session” cookies: a persistent cookie will be stored by a web browser and will remain valid until its set expiry date, unless deleted by the user before the expiry date; a session cookie, on the other hand, will expire at the end of the user session, when the web browser is closed.
1.3 Cookies do not typically contain any information that personally identifies a user, but personal information that we store about you may be linked to the information stored in and obtained from cookies.

Third Party Cookies
Google Analytics
English Spirit uses Google Analytics to monitor traffic levels, search queries and visits to this website. Google Analytics stores IP address information (anonymously) on its servers in the United States, and neither English Spirit nor Google associates your IP address with any personally identifiable information.
The analytics.js JavaScript library is part of Universal Analytics and uses a single first-party cookie containing an anonymous identifier used to distinguish users. By default, this library sets cookies on the top level domain, excluding the leading dot, and sets the cookie path to the root level (/). More information about Google’s cookie policy can be read at www.google.com/intl/en/analytics/privacyoverview.html
Facebook Tracking Pixel
English Spirit also engage in online advertising on third party websites and apps. This is accomplished using a wide variety of digital marketing ad exchanges via cookies, ad tags, pixels and mobile identifiers. This includes Facebook’s Custom Audience service.
Banner advertisements are served within Facebook’s feed based on the information we hold about you such as previous order history, pages visited and adverts clicked on. The following targeting techniques are used:
Custom Audiences from a customer list which uses your email address to serve our ads to you within your newsfeed.
Engagement Custom Audiences where you are targeted based on whether you have engaged with English Spirit content on Facebook, Facebook partner sites and apps.
Website Custom Audiences where you are targeted if you have visited our website within the past 30 days.
You can opt out of seeing ads delivered on Facebook based on your activity on our website via the Facebook pixel notification on our website.
